Handwriting Predicts Risk for Heart Disease?

02/10/2009

I came across this small study performed in England by graphologist Christina Strang. She examined handwriting samples of people with heart disease and compared it to samples from people without heart disease. She found that people with heart disease were much more likely to have “resting dots” (caused by pen pauses on paper) than people without heart disease.

This is a unique preliminary study – will be interesting to see if this can be replicated? Can penmanship really tell us about health risks?
